Today some friends and I went to city centre to see a Holocause Memorial put on by the Birmingham Town Hall. It was really interesting. They had a Holocaust survivor speak and showed the film The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, which is based off the book that I am currently reading. We were all crying, so that was rather depressing...

Paris in March!
It's nice to be back from break now, it was long but fun at the same time. I went to London quite a few times, Wales, Germany, Ireland and the Czech Republic. Daryl came up for a few days and so did a friend from back home, but now school is starting up so homework is piling on.
Michelle and I booked our ticket today for Paris! We're going from March 5-8, because luckily we get four day weekends so we can do stuff like this. We're taking the Chunnel. For everything, including getting to London, it's about £70. Which, isn't terrible. You can find cheap plane tickets, but then you fly outside of the city and you still need to pay to get within the city. So we're hoping that the weather will cooperate so we can have a nice time.
Next weekend we go to York. It's our first school planned trip for second semester. One of my English roommates just went to York recently with her boyfriend and she said it was quite beautiful, so it's bound to be a good time!
